At least 133 injured in brutal crackdown on Sudan's anti-coup protesters
At least 133 protestersÌýwere injured after a crackdown onÌý across on Monday,Ìýthe Central Committee of Sudan Doctors (CCSD) .

Sudanese security forces continue toÌýbrutally suppressÌýpro-democracy protestersÌýdemandingÌýa return to civilian ruleÌýfollowing a militaryÌýcoupÌý againstÌýformerÌýPrime Minister Abdalla Hamdok's government.
On Monday, at leastÌý42ÌýpeopleÌýsufferedÌýbody or head injuries as a result ofÌýtear gas canisters being fired into the crowds. Thirty-five were injuredÌýby shotgun pelletsÌýand 11 were hurt byÌýstun grenades.
Two were also injured after being reportedly mowed downÌýby Sundanese security forces' vehicles.
A total of 84 injuries were reported in the capital Khartoum and 27 were counted in Omdurman,ÌýSudan's second-largest city. The remaining 22 injuries were reported as happening in other unspecified areas across the country.
