Lebanon investigates how Israeli goods ended up on shop shelves
Lebanon's National Security Ministry said it is investigating how the Israeli items arrived on shop shelves in the country.

Israeli goods have been confiscated from shop shelves and warehouses in Lebanon, the country's national security ministry announced.
The ministry said the products had been removed and “relevant parties had been summoned for questioning", according to local reports.
Israel and Lebanon have no official diplomatic ties and the sale of Israeli goods are banned in the country.
Israeli news outlet Ynet reported that among the items were kitchen towels from Netanya-based Golf & Co and PROMAX sealing tape
Golf & Co CEO Eyal Greenberg told the news website that the products may have been excess inventory that made its way into Lebanon after being sold to traders in the West Bank.Ìý
Lebanese authorities say they are investigating the matter.
Lebanon and Israel are still officially at war, although there has been two decades of relative calm since the 2006 conflict between Israel and Lebanese paramilitary group Hezbollah ended.
In recent months, tensions have risen at the Israel-Lebanon border, with Hezbollah and Israel trading threats of escalation.
