Video of Israeli extremists attacking elderly Palestinian woman sparks outrage
A video showing extremists kicking and pepper-spraying an elderly woman has attracted widespread outrage after going viral online.
Several ultra-nationalist Jewish men carrying flags can be seen hitting the woman before one pepper-sprayed her face, videos show. This leads to a bigger scuffle where a Palestinian man defends the woman before the extremists escape the scene.

The Israelis attacked the woman during the controversial 'Flag March' in occupied East Jerusalem's Old City to mark 'Jerusalem Day' - an Israeli commemoration of Israel’s illegal occupation of the city.
Many of the ultranationalists chanted "Death to Arabs" as they paraded through Jerusalem, while others reportedly assaulted Palestinians in the vicinity. One Israeli reportedly brandished a gun at Damascus Gate, one of the centres of Palestinian life in the city.
At least 40 Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupying forces and settlers using rubber bullets, truncheons and pepper spray, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Earlier on Sunday, flag-waving Israeli nationalists chanting pro-Israel slogans, among them far-right lawmaker Itamar Ben Gvir, visited Al-Aqsa flanked by Israeli police. Meanwhile, Israeli forces barricaded Muslim worshippers inside the mosque.
Israel’s annual 'Flag March' to commemorate their capture and occupation of East Jerusalem often leads to violence, and ultranationalists provoke and attack Palestinians during their parade. The Israeli nationalist celebration ignited last year’s bloody war on Gaza.
