Israel army breaches Gaza border, razes farming area
Israeli army vehicles entered the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, breaching the territory's border and razing farmland, Wafa news reported.
Five vehicles, including a bulldozer, entered the besieged Palestinian territory in the central border city of Deir al Balah, a correspondent for the Palestinian Authority's official news agency said.
Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005 after occupying the coastal Palestinian enclave for 38 years, however regularly breaches its border.
It has also carried out crushing military strikes on Gaza and is of having committed war crimes in its attacks.
Densely populatedÌýGazaÌýis home to some 2.3 million residents, the majority of whom live in poverty, according to the World Bank.
Israel has imposedÌýa crippling siege on the territory, denying Palestinians essential goods and making exit from the territory difficult for residents.
