Lebanon's 'invincible' popstar Ragheb Alama fell over... and the internet fell with him
A video of Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama was making rounds all over the Arab social mediasphere over the weekend after he tripped over during a concert.
Singing at the Bkassine Festival, he surprised his audience by tripping over, an accident which later caused a massive stir.
Arab media outlets saw the clickbaity opportunity and wrote headlines which implied that Ragheb Alama had collapsed during the concert and tweeters began circulating the video as hilarity and concern for the singer became a temporary distraction for Arabs.
Later on, he that the humidity of Bkassine created dampness on stage, which is why he fell and he thanked God for making it out of the fall safely. Ragheb Alama has earned himself a comical reputation for being invincible and to be involved in all major world events.
