Second rocket attack targets UAE's Dana Gas infrastructure in northern Iraq

A rocket targeted the employee housing of UAE energy firm Dana Gas in Sulaymaniyah in northern Iraq on Friday, landing in the company's Khor Mor gas field, two security sources said.

The attack followed an incident on Wednesday when aÌýrocket landed inside the gas field but caused no damage, Sulaymaniyah's counter-terrorism service said. No party has claimed responsibility for the strike.Ìý

°Õ³ó±ðÌýÌýin the southwest of Sulaimaniyah provinceÌýis being developed by the UAE's Dana Gas companyÌýand produces natural gas for almost 80 percent of the Kurdistan region's power plants.Ìý
