Egyptian star  has tested positive for Covid-19, the Egyptian Football Association said on Friday.

The tested positive for coronavirus while on international duty for Egypt.

The Egyptian FA said Salah is not displaying any symptoms, the BBC reported.

Other members of the team have tested negative, the FA said. 

Salah's positive Covid-19 test comes ahead of an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between Egypt and Togo on Saturday.

In his three years at Liverpool, Salah has helped his team win several high-profile competitions including the Champion's League. 
 
The club won its first Premier League title in June, making Salah
 the second-ever Arab national player to win the English top division.
