Israeli army gasses Palestinian shepherds and farmers near Gaza's Khan Younis
The Israeli army forces on Monday attacked Palestinian goat herders, , and agricultural workers with gas canisters along the eastern fence of Khan Younis city in the south of the Hamas-run Strip.
Local told °®Âþµº that the Israeli soldiers stationed in military towers in the area fired live bullets from heavy machine guns and tearÌýgasÌýat PalestinianÌýshepherds and farmers,ÌýforcingÌýthem to flee.
Mohammed Qudai, aÌýfarmerÌýbased in Khan Younis, told °®Âþµº that he experienced ongoing Israeli violations with plenty ofÌýother farmers.Ìý
"Every day, the Israeli army openedÌýfire against us, even thoughÌýthey know that we are farmers and not involved in any military activities in Gaza," the 38-year-old father of seven said.Ìý
He added that in the past month, an Israeli soldier shot andÌýwounded him in hisÌýleg,ÌýforcingÌýQudai to stay home without working and gettingÌýmoney for his family.Ìý
"I make about $US10 a day. This amount is notÌýenough to keep my family afloat," he said.ÌýÌý
He called on the Gaza-ruled Hamas to discuss these violations in theÌýindirect negotiations with the Israelis to end them.Ìý
