Iran should make Israel PM Netanyahu their 'slave', says IRGC commander
´¡²ÔÌýIranianÌýmilitary commander has reportedly said Tehran shouldÌýabduct and enslaveÌýBenjamin Netanyahu.
Mojtaba Fada, the military leader who made the remarks on Sunday, is a Revolutionary Guards commander in Iran'sÌýIsfahan province, Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post reported.
Netanyahu has served twice as Israel'sÌýprime minister and will likely soon assume the post again at the head of a far-right coalition.
"The former prime minister of the Zionist regime hoped that the protests in Iran would lead him to travel to Tehran, but God willing, the Islamic Republic will prevail and will frog march that prime minister to Iran wearing a leash and a slave collar," Fada said, according to Bahar News.
He described Israel, a longtime foe of Iran, as a "child-murdering regime".
Tehran on Thursday accused Israel and Western intelligence services of plotting to start a civil war in Iran.
"Various security services, Israel and some Western politicians who have made plans for civil war, destruction and the disintegration of Iran, should know that Iran is not Libya or Sudan," Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian tweeted.
It comes as Iran is gripped by some of the biggest anti-government protests since the country's 1979 revolution.
Demonstrations were sparked by the 16 September death of 22-year-old Kurdish Iranian woman Mahsa Amini.
Amini, whose Kurdish first name can be spelled "Zhina" or "Jina", died in custody after morality police arrested her for allegedly wearing her hijab 'incorrectly'.
