-linked hacking group Pay2Key said on Thursday that it had hacked the computer systems of cyber security firm Portnox.
Just days earlier, the Pay2Key group breached the systems of Israel Aerospace Industries.
The latest hack targeting Israeli firms led to the publishing of documents relating to some of Israel's biggest companies, including El Al, Elbit, Bezeq and Clalit, among others, according to Ynet News.
Pay2Key claims that it has only published 3 gigabites of 1 terabyte of data it allegedly seized. Among the documents published was a 15-page report detailing weaknesses at defence firm Elbit.
In response to the attack, Portnox said it was "conducting an intensive investigation in order to understand the scope of the event.”
A number of cyber attacks on Israeli firms have been linked to the Pay2Key group, which installs ransomware demanding victims make Bitcoin transfers. In November, Israeli cyber security firm Check Point said it had tracked some Pay2Key transactions to a Bitcoin exchange based in Iran.
