Dubai princess Mahra Al-Maktoum has launched a perfume called 'Divorce' following her very publicÌýseparationÌýwith her husband.

Sheikha Mahra, the daughter of Dubai's ruler, let her husband know she planned to divorce him via an Instagram post in July.

The royal, who is also an entrepreneur in the business and tech sectors, recently announced her aptly-named new fragrance on social media.

Sheikha Mahra teased the perfume and its name over the weekend and officially announced the fragrance on Monday, sharing a photo of a black bottle with "Divorce" written in white, and will be part of herÌýMAHRA M1 perfume line.

'Divorce' has been praised by her social media followers, who lauded the princess's strength during this personal tribulation.

"The way you transformed such a personal and painful experience into something empowering, with the launch of your perfume 'Divorce' is truly empowering," wrote one user.

"Where can we order?!" says entrepreneur and influencer Mona Kattan.

"Do you see how Mahra is moving accordingly? Very demure, very quietly, very princessey (sic), she is not like most of you throwing tantrums or making videos online, no, she is very classy, very reserved, very standing on business," one social media user wrote, referring to a popular meme.

"Divorce has never smelled this good," said another.

Social media users were shocked after Mahra announced to end of her marriage with industrialist Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al-Maktoum, which came two months after welcoming their first child.

"As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce," the princess wrote.

"I divorce you, I divorce you, and I Divorce you," possibly referencing the Islamic practice of a Muslim man divorcing his wife by repeating his intention three timesÌýandÌýis not normally used by women.

The couple married in April 2023 and have now removed all photos and videos of their wedding on social media.
