Disgraced American director and producer Brett Ratner, embroiled in multiple sexual harassment allegations, has reportedly relocated to Israel.

Ratner, who has directed several blockbuster films and series, posted on social media an Israeli passbook issued to new immigrants to the country, indicating the move.

The image - posted to the Instagram Stories feature last week - was captioned with "Brett Shai Ratner" written in Hebrew, according toÌýThe Times of Israel.

Ratner, who is Jewish-American, has gone on to make several Israel-related posts since. Israel allows Jewish people from across the road to "make Aliyah", by moving to Israel.

In a post on Instagram on Wednesday, Ratner posted an image of the American and Israeli flags saying: "Proud Jew! Proud American! Proud Zionist!

"As a Jew whose grandparents fled European Anti-Semitism my greatest blessing is to have been born an American. In gratitude to this I am committed to doing all I can to make sure the bond between American and Israel remains inalienable."

The director, known for the Rush Hour franchise and the jail-themed series Prison Break, has also expressed support for aÌýpotential - and controversial - normalisation deal between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

On Instagram, Ratner can be seen posing with IsraeliÌýPrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his wife Sara, and American pro-Israeli lawyer and political commentator Alan Dershowitz. Ratner was reportedly a special guest of Netanyahu’s at the United Nations last month,ÌýThe Times of Israel said.

Netanyahu currently heads Israel's most far-right government in the country’s 70-year history. Since coming to power in December 2022, it has intensified deadly military raids and persecution of Palestinians living in the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip.

Ratner has been caught up in misconduct allegations after multiple women accused him of sexual assault and harassment amid the #MeToo movement in 2017.ÌýÌý

Among those who accused him were leading actresses Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge.

Following the allegations brought against him, leading US entertainment studio Warner Bros severed ties with Ratner.

Ratner’s last film-related credit was in 2019, was worked as a producer on the film 'Georgetown', although it is not clear if the director's current inactivity in the film industry is related to his misconduct allegations.
