Al-Shabab vs Zamalek: Arab Club Champions Cup match descends into brawl
An Arab Club Champions Cup football match between Saudi side Al-Shabab and Egypt's Zamalek descended into a brawl on Monday.
The confrontation started in the 31st minute of the first half of the game, which Al-Shabab went on to win 1–0.
After a dispute between Amr El Sisi of Zamalek and Al-Shabab's Éver Banega, members of both teams started fighting.
Yellow cards were given to players from both Zamalek and Al-Shabab.
The match took place in Taif in Saudi Arabia, with the winning goal coming in the form of a penalty scored by Banega in the 45th minute of first-half play.

Zamalek and Al-Shabab are in Group C of the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup alongside Saudi side Al-Nassr and Tunisian team Monastir.
Al-Nassr, for whom world football star Cristiano Ronaldo plays, leads the group on goal difference but is tied with fellow Riyadh outfit Al-Shabab on four points in the standings.
Zamalek is in third place with three points, while Monastir rounds out the bottom with zero.
