At least four killed in another building collapse in Egypt's Cairo
A four-storey residential building in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Wednesday morning, 6 September, claiming the lives of at least four people, all from a single family.
Search and rescue operations are underway.
Six people have also been injured in the collapse of the building, located in the northern middle-class Hadayek El-Kobba neighbourhood, as rescuer workers are currently combing the rubble for possible survivors or bodies of dead victims.
Wednesday's incident is one of many building collapses common in Egypt in recent months due to poor construction standards amid alleged corruption and lack of accountability.
Earlier in July, a five-storey building in Hadayek El-Kobba, leaving ten and injuring four others.
No official comment on preliminary investigations about the incident has been released until the time of publication.
