An Iraqi journalist, born in Baghdad in 1978. She graduated from the Media Faculty of Baghdad University in 1998, and has been writing for several Arabic and international publications, including the London-based Al Sharq Al Awsat and niqash.com.
Many Iraqi poets have been using their words to criticise the government and political parties over corruption, lack of services and the absence of law, which has alarmed authorities.
