The Israeli army has again stormed the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza, as it continues a fierce assault on the enclave's north.
Israeli forces forced medical staff and patients to leave the hospital on Friday, and also arrested many people inside, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The agency also reported that Israeli aircraft targeted houses near the hospital, with 30 reportedly killed and others injured.
Hossam Abu Safieh, the director of the hospital, said four medical staff were killed and there are now no surgeons left at the site.
"There was a series of air strikes on the northern and western sides of the hospital, accompanied by intense and direct fire," he told AFP.
Two people were also killed in a strike on the Rafi'i school in Jabalia, while three people were killed in an attack on Khirbet Al-Adas near the southern city of Rafah.
The continued Israeli strikes on Gaza come as the World Health Organization announced that it secured the evacuation of eight patients, with five going to Belgium, two to Spain, and one to Romania.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director of the WHO, noted that "at least 12,000 patients across Gaza still need medical evacuation to survive. We urge for the rapid efficient use of all corridors to allow all patients to receive life-saving care in time."
On Thursday Ghebreyesus said that a WHO team had managed to complete a three-day mission in besieged northern Gaza, delivering fuel, food and medical supplies to the Kamal Adwan Hospital and Al-Shifa Hospital.
The Israeli army announced, meanwhile, said that it had killed Majdi Aqilan, a senior Hamas commander who allegedly took part in the attack on the Nahal Oz settlement on 7 October 2023.
The continued attacks on Gaza come as Hamas and Fatah agree to an Egyptian proposal in Cairo, which would see the creation of a joint Palestinian committee to govern the strip after the war ends.
"Hamas conveyed its approval of an Egyptian proposal for forming a community support committee that will function through inclusive national mechanisms," the statement read.
During the meetings in Cairo, Hamas also held talks with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
Israel's war on Gaza, which has been ongoing for the past 14 months, has killed 44,580 people and wounded a further 105,739.
The International Court of Justice is currently investigating whether Israel is conducting genocide in Gaza, while Amnesty International also labelling Israel's action as genocide in a report released on Thursday.
