Earlier this week, protestors blocked entrances to the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington DC to force politicians to encounter their candlelight vigil and calls for an end to Israel's war on Gaza and Gaza genocide.
Many wore black shirts reading “Ceasefire Now” and chanted “let Gaza live.” However, Capitol police responded to the demonstration with a forceful crackdown which has drawn a lot of criticism. Organisers said over 90 non-violent people in the protest were injured by Capitol police.
