Yemen army kill 23 Houthis in Marib attack: report

It comes as fighting between Yemeni pro-government forces and Houthi rebels intensifies around Marib.

More than 23ÌýÌýwere killed in fighting with the Yemeni pro-government forces on SundayÌýand Monday, a military news site claimed on Monday.

TheÌýdeathsÌýcome as Yemeni troops and pro-government Popular Resistance militiasÌýfoughtÌýthe rebels in northern Yemen'sÌý, where the is located.

This latest fighting occurred at Al-Kasarah, to the regional capital's west.

Government bombing took out six Houthi vehicles, the military news outlet added.
