Data on Google shows Lebanon in fourth place globally for searching the term "ChatGPT".
Despite its small size and current economic depression, Lebanon has long been an attractive place for innovation.
The country of roughly six million has a vibrant tech community and a growing number of start-ups and companies working in AI. Its prestigious universities and research institutions are also actively engaged in AI research and development.
The two other Arab countries were Palestine and Morocco, which came in sixth and ninth places respectively.
China came in first place globally with a score of 100, followed by Nepal and Israel.
Surprisingly, the United States failed to feature among the top 10 countries.
