A regime soldier and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters were killed in separate incidents in Syria's north on Sunday.

Two members of the Kurdish-led SDF were killed by unknown gunmen near a bridge south of Raqqa city, activist Abu Omar al-Bukamali told °®Âþµº's Arabic-language sister service Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

In northeastern Syria, the SDF launched a campaign of raids on homes in several villages in Hasakah province, al-Bukamali said.

They arrested five people accused of links to the Islamic State (IS) group during a raid in Al-Husseiniyah village in the province's east, he added.
