Israeli settlers vandalise Palestinian cars in occupied West Bank's Jenin

The Ìýidentified the carsÌýinÌýSielet Ath-Thaher as Palestinian byÌýtheir registration plates, then pelted them withÌýstones and empty bottles, according to local sources.
Israeli soldiers stormed the town the same evening. They raidedÌýhomes and shops, andÌýconfiscated CCTV equipment.Ìý
Soldiers also interrogated passengers in Palestinian vehicles in the Wad Da’ouq area, along with Arraba-Ya’bad road.
The same night,Ìýan Israeli man was fatally shot at a Jewish settler outpost north of the city of Nablus.
Hours later, settlers stormed a village south of Nablus, attacking and injuring several Palestinians, a local official told media.
Israel has occupied the West Bank illegally since 1967, and commits various abuses against Palestinian civilians, human rights groups say.
More than 700,000 Jewish Israelis live in settlements in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, in constructions considered illegal under international law.
Rights groups have repeatedly accused Israeli forces of using "unnecessary and excessive force" and carrying out extrajudicial killings of Palestinians.
