Also Wednesday, Israel's military confirmed its forces had carried out an airstrike in Gaza that killed three of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh's sons.
The three sons - Hazem, Amir and Mohammad - were killed after the car they were driving in was bombed in Gaza's Al-Shati camp, Hamas said. Three of Haniyeh's grandchildren were also killed in the attack and a third was wounded, Hamas media said.
Gazans are celebrating Eid al-Fitr following the end of Ramadan under the rubble and famine caused by Israel's war on the enclave, now in its seventh month.
US President Joe Biden has further criticised Israel, calling its military actions in Gaza a "mistake".
The war on Gaza has killed over 33,400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured more than 76,000 others.
