Israeli forces detained a number of Palestinians on Wednesday morning before withdrawing from areas near the West Bank cities of Nablus and Jenin.

Occupying forces on Wednesday morning withdrew from the West Bank cities of and Jenin after detaining six more Palestinians, including the brother of a slain fighter.

The Israeli army on Tuesday killed six Palestinians and injured dozens during raids that took place across the .

The raids continued on Wednesday with three alleged members of the Lions' Den detained, including the brother of a slain Palestinian fighter.

Mohammed Al-Nabulsi was taken from his own home by Israeli troops in Nablus, along with two other alleged members of the armed group.

His brother Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, nicknamed 'The Lion of Nablus', was shot dead by Israeli forces in August and has since become a hero among Palestinian youth.

"They stormed the family's house and barbarically broke down the door, assaulted family members, tampered with our stuff and they even tore up the pictures of my darling martyr Ibrahim," Al-Nabulsi's mother said.

Local sources told °®Âþµº's Arabic-language service Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that there were sounds of fighting in eastern ​​Nablus, where Palestinian fighters confronted the occupying forces.

The Israeli forces stormed the town of Jabaa, south of Jenin, with dozens of military vehicles and arrested three former prisoners: Mahmoud Alawneh, Anas Fakhoury, and Bashar Kanaan, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners Club in Jenin, Montaser Sammour, told to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed

The Israeli army raided the homes of the former prisoners, interrogated residents and neighbours, and confiscated property.

Other arrests took place in the West Bank cities of Hebron, Qalqilya, and East Jerusalem.
