Israeli forces bombed ³Ò²¹³ú²¹â€™s Al-Mawasi, a so-called safe-zone, killing at least 21 on Thursday, with medical sources stating that victims were "incinerated".

According to the director of the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, dozens were wounded in the attack. Palestinians and medics in the enclave have reiterated throughout Israel’s war on the Strip that there are no safe areas and Israel does not respect designated safe zones.

A family also remains trapped under the rubble in Gaza City, following overnight Israeli bombing and civil defence crews struggling to retrieve the family. Al-Jazeera reported that at least 25 people have been confirmed killed in the bombing which targeted a four-story building, with victims transferred to the Al-Ahli Hospital.

An additional three people were killed in Al-Jnaina, near Rafah on Thursday, the Wafa news agency said. The report added that Israeli helicopters have been firing on towns in the area.

In Beit Lahia, Israeli forces raided the vicinity of the Kamal Adwan Hospital, killing and wounding people. The facility has come under several attacks in recent weeks, as well as the neighbouring Shujaeyya area.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) chief in Gaza, Younis Al-Khatib, said their teams are facing "unprecedented violations of international humanitarian law by the Israeli occupation".

The comments were made in a conference held with Jagan Chapagain, the secretary-general of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

This comes on the same day that Israel’s national security minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, said that Israel should stop fuel supplies from entering Gaza until captives are released.

"We have to stop their fuel for a few months, I believe they will fall to their knees and say, ‘take the hostages and bring fuel,'" the far-right minister told Israel’s Army Radio.

West Bank raid

Meanwhile, in the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces carried out a widespread arrest campaign, with at least 28 detained since yesterday evening, Palestinian prisoner societies confirmed.

The wave of arrests mainly targeted people in Ramallah, Jenin, Tulkarem, Tubas and Jerusalem.

At least 12 Palestinians were rounded up in Hebron, where a father and his 16-year-old son were arrested.

Israeli forces also fired sound bombs and tear gas in Qalqilya, just one day after they carried out attacks in the towns of Huwwara and Beit Furik.

These are the latest in a series of violent attacks, with Israeli forces raiding Nablus’ Specialised Arab Hospital on Wednesday, where they arrested a wounded Palestinian man.

Another hospital, the Turkish Government Hospital in Tubas, was also stormed on Tuesday, in a move condemned by Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

According to the aid group, the raid went on for one hour, with five medical staff members detained.

"Medical staff on site were threatened at gunpoint and subjected to aggressive questioning. Patients were told to stay still or they would be shot and killed," they said in a post on X.

Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 44,532 Palestinians and wounded over 105,532 others since 7 October 2023. In the West Bank, at least 780 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023.
