Child protester dies in Sudan after being shot in the head during anti-coup march
A child protester has diedÌýof injuries sustainedÌýin Ìýthat wasÌýattacked by Sudanese forces in the city of Omdurman on Thursday.
Thirteen-year-old Ahmad Maqam al-Din died late on Sunday after attempts to treat him in intensive care for a bullet wound to the head failed, theÌýSudanese Central Doctors' Committee said.

Sudan has seen ongoing protests following a coup last October led by , who chaired the Transitional Sovereignty CouncilÌýagainst the civilian government of Prime Minister Abdulla Hamdok.
Eighty-eight protesters have since been killed and Ahmad's death brings the total number of children killed to 14, with hundreds more people injured.
The Doctors' Committee said in a statement that Sudanese security forces were still using live bullets against protesters.
The Sudanese Resistance Committees in Khartoum called for a new protest to take place on Monday, saying it would march to the Republican Palace and close off roads in Khartoum.
