Britney Spears says she's pregnant with Iranian-American partner Sam Asghari's baby as conservatorship ends
has announced she isÌý for the third time with her Iranian-American partner, just months after her father'sÌýconservatorship, preventing the singer from having more children, ended.
The 90s pop sensation announced on her Instagram on Monday evening that after piling on the pounds after a recent trip toÌýthe Hawaiian island of Maui,Ìýher -American partner Sam Asghari teased her saying she'sÌý"food pregnant".
"So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a babyÌý… 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant.ÌýIt’s growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just lose it,"ÌýSpears, 40, wrote.
She said she spent theÌýmajority of her pregnancy indoors to avoid theÌýpaparazzi who mightÌý"get their money shot".
During her previous pregnancies, Spears saidÌýshe suffered prenatal depression due to the pressure she was under.
"I have to say it is absolutely horribleÌý … women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her," she said of her first two pregnancies in 2005 and 2006.
"But now women talk about it everyday … thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret… This time I will be doing yogaÌýevery day !!! Spreading lots of joy and love!!!"
Spears has said she wanted a family withÌýher fitness model fiance, 28, but was unable to due to her conservatorship.
She had received a number of congratulations from fans and prominent celebrities who were supporting her freedom.

Last year, the couple announced their engagement just days after her father filed to end a court conservatorship that has controlled the singer's life and money for 13 years.
Asghari has publicly supported her throughout her legal battle to end her conservatorship, with Spears telling a judge in June that she wanted to marry and have a baby with him -Ìýsomething she was not allowed to do before.
#FreeBritney
Britney's father, Jamie Spears was the court-appointed decision-maker of her life, with capacious control over her finances and private life under the pretext of her spiraling mental health in the late 2000s.
The conservatorshipÌýcontrolledÌýall aspects of her life, including minute personal decisions such as preventing her from getting her nails done, changing the colour of her kitchen,Ìýand was even forced to have an IUD, preventing her from having a baby.
For years, impassioned fans called for her freedom in a movement dubbed #FreeBritney. The hashtag gained massive traction last year.
Over the summer, she released a documentary highlighting her life under the conservatorship, which she branded as "abusive".
