An Israeli raid and drone attackÌýon a refugee camp in city of TulkarmÌýin the north of the occupied West BankÌýleft six people Palestinians dead and several others wounded early Wednesday, according to the Palestinian ministry of health.

"Six martyrs [were] killed by the occupation (Israel) and some who were seriously wounded were transported to the Thabet Thabet government hospital in Tulkarm," the ministry said in a short statement.

According to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa, the six people were killed by an Israeli drone strikes on the Nur Shams refugee camp, which was also stormed by Israeli soldiers.

Ahmed Anwar Hamarsha, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Issa and Adham Muhammad Fahmawi, who were all 19-years old were killed.Ìý

17-year-old Hamza Ahmed Mustafa Fahmawi, Yazan Ahmed Wahid Fahmawi, 23 and Fares Hossam Fahmawi, 29, also lost their lives, while a 24-year-old is reportedly seriously injured in the head and his condition critical, Wafa said.

Wafa also said that Israeli forces held up an ambulance transporting three injured people out of the camp for over an hour and an Israeli soldier stabbed one of the injured people with a knife, while other people in the ambulance were kicked, punched and beaten amid threats to kill them.

The Israeli army has not commented on the attack.

The West Bank has witnessed an increase in Israeli raids and violence since Israel's war on theÌýGaza Strip began on October 7.

More than 300 Palestinians in the West Bank have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers since, according to the Palestinian health ministry.

According to local Fatah Secretary Iyad Al-Jarad, Tulkarm will observe a comprehensive strike to mourn the deaths of the six men killed in the Israeli raid.
